John became a member of ‘Let it Blaw’ in 1886 and was first mentioned in the Toast List/Programme of 1887.
Early Club Records indicate that John stayed at 4 Morningside Drive, Edinburgh. Another record shows that he stayed at “Mansfield” in Balerno.
