In the record of a committee meeting held on 17th November 1911, George Y. Robertson reported that he had “secured Councillor Lorne MacLeod, 25 Albany Street, Edinburgh to propose the Toast of the Evening at the forthcoming Anniversary Supper.”
So, Councillor MacLeod attended the 1912 Supper as a Guest Speaker. It’s not thought that he ever became a member of ‘Let it Blaw’.
