Ken became a member of ‘Let it Blaw’ in 1978 and was first mentioned in the Toast List/Programme 1982.

Ken’s 15 years as Club Treasurer is the second longest anyone has held that office in the long history of ‘Let it Blaw’. However, for all the administration work that he has devoted to the Club, he’s probably best known for his word-perfect recitations from a memory that seems to have no limit. In a Club where the norm is members knowing one or two poems which they repeat periodically, Ken’s most notable recitations, in addition to Tam o’ Shanter on five occasions, are :
