A meeting of the Committee was held here this evening when it was arranged to have an excursion to the Carlops
by brake on Saturday 28th September 1901, leaving the village at 12 noon.

Favoured with good weather, the Company spent a most enjoyable day returning all well pleased with the afternoon’s outing.
