Robert became a member of ‘Let it Blaw’ c.1886 and was described in early Club Records as residing at “Pilmuir”.
Robert was the son of David Wyllie Snr. and brother of David Wyllie Jnr.. Robert and David were brought up on David Snr’s farm at Haughead moving to Pilmuir Farm in their late 20s.
