In 1881, when ‘Let it Blaw’ was founded Ann, together with Agnes Barclay, was a servant living and working at Henderson’s Inn. It seems reasonable to assume that when required, such as the occasions of ‘Let it Blaw’ Suppers, they would be called upon to work in the kitchen or waiting tables.
