Hugh became a member of ‘Let it Blaw’ in 1908 and was first mentioned in the Toast List/Programme that year.

Club records show that Hugh was a Coachman residing at “The Lodge, Balerno”. 

Hugh was one of the few club members who kept the Club ticking over during the years of World War I when there was an AGM each year but little else.
