William became a member of ‘Let it Blaw’ in 1907
In Club Records, he is only ever referred to as “Sergeant Campbell.” It’s believed this is a Sergeant William Campbell whose address in the 1911 Census was Malleny Ranges, Balerno. His occupation was given as a “Rifle Range Warden.” Sergeant Campbell was originally from Aberdeen.
His death in 1920 was recorded in Club Minutes.
