No Record exist for events at the Annual Supper of 1935. However, there’s no doubt the event did take place. At a Committee Meeting in Mrs Brows Inn on Thursday 17th January 1935, one week prior to the Supper, details of the administration of the event were discussed. For example, it had been decided to drop the Toast to Imperial Forces from the Toast List, although it could, if wished, be combined with the Toast to the King. Mention was made that Mr Grieve, the Schoolmaster, had agreed to attend and confirmation was given that the Toast List was complete with the exception of the ‘Reply to the Toast to Kindred Clubs.’ No further records exist until November 1935.
